Purge (Chapter 7 Part 10) [07.10] Coyote Stark, Lilinette Gingerback, and...Grimmjow again?!  


I walked into the room and sat down on the couch. “I’m back,” I said.

Stark nodded, an arm over his face and his mouth slightly open.

Lilinette sighed and stomped on his arm, making him yell and sit up. “The hell?!”
“You’re supposed to be talking!” she growled.

“Well, what are we supposed to talk about?” Stark growled back.

Lilinette grit her teeth. “I don’t know!” She thrust her finger at me. “You, think of something!”

I blinked. “Me? What am I supposed to do?”

Stark just shook his head and lay back down. “Whatever. We already introduced ourselves plenty when she got here. We’re done. You ought to go report to Aizen and see what he’s going to do with you. I don’t think you’re supposed to be staying here for long.”

I nodded. “Right. Well, I’ll see you guys around…”

I got up and left the room feeling very relieved. Finally!


“Ah, you got along with them well?” asked Aizen, that creepy smile still super-glued to his face.

I hesitated, then nodded slightly. “Er, most of them…kind of…”

He chuckled, then nodded. “Good, good. I’m going to ask you to stay here for another two days, then we will go back to Soul Society together and see how they are doing up there. Do you agree?”

“Yes,” I said. “Sounds fine to me…”

“I’m glad you feel the same way, then. I was originally planning to place you under Stark’s care-“

“Oh, I can take care of myself,” I said quickly. “I’ll just find my way around and-“

“-but Stark is busy,” continued Aizen as if he hadn’t heard me. “So I’m going to place you under Sexta Espada Grimmjow’s watch. You two should get along just fine, seeing as you’ve already met twice. Perhaps you’ll even enjoy his company.”

I felt my eyes widen. “Grimmjow…dono?”
